Previously a Head Start Teacher, Jeanne then Headed Psychotherapy Services at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and was a Consultant Psychotherapist in Ellern Mede Centre for Eating Disorders in London. She trained at the Tavistock Clinic in London to become a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist (PhD level), Family Psychotherapist and Adult Psychotherapist. Previous vice-president and joint coordinator of training, she currently teaches for the Centro Studi Martha Harris Tavistock model trainings in Florence and Venice, Italy. She works as a private child, adult and family therapist and consults, publishes and gives talks and in London and internationally. She also currently teaches on the Tavistock Programme on Suicide and Self-Harm. Her multi-lingual publications include her editing of Universals of Psychoanalysis, and jointly editing Psychotherapy with Families; Crises in Adolescence; Intimate Transformations: Babies with their Families; The Silent Child: Communication without Words (Karnacs, 2012); Observacion du Bebes (Observation of Babies) (Mexico City, Mexico: PAIDOS, 2012); Creativity and Psychotic States (Routledge:2015) and Bebegi Anlamak (Infant Observation) (Istanbul: Baglam Press: 2016) .
